The basics

What is Zxo.Farm?

Zxo is a liquidity farming protocol for Uniswap V3-style exchanges. Each Zxo pool has its own reward token (for example ZXOWETH) paired with an established token (WETH). You provide liquidity to that pair in a tight price range, stake the position in Zxo, and earn the pool's Zxo token on top of the pair's trading fees.

The whitepaper has the full technical breakdown.

How do you pronounce "Zxo"?

"Zoh". The About page has the story behind the name.

Which chains is Zxo on?

Zxo is live on Arbitrum One and PulseChain. PulseChain Testnet v4 is also available for trying the dapp with test tokens.

More chains are planned, including Ethereum, Optimism, Base, Unichain, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon and Robinhood Chain. The Reward Dashboard always shows the chains and pools that are live right now.

What do I need to start farming?
  • A crypto wallet that works with the chain you want to farm on.
  • A little of that chain's native coin for network fees (ETH on Arbitrum, PLS on PulseChain).
  • Both tokens of the pool you pick: its Zxo token and the token it is paired with.

There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for. You connect your wallet and you stay in control of it.

Does Zxo charge any fees?

Zxo charges no deposit fee, no withdrawal fee and no fee on your principal. You pay the network's own transaction fees.

One thing does come out of the rewards you claim: the pool's referral share, between 3% and 30% depending on the pool. It goes to your referrer, or to the Zxo treasury if you have none. See Does the referral share come out of my rewards?

Farming

Staking a position

How do I start farming?
  1. Open the dapp and connect your wallet, or pick a farm group on the homepage to land on the right chain and pools.
  2. Choose a pool and enter the amount to stake.
  3. Check the Position Summary, approve both tokens, then press Stake.
  4. Your position appears in the Earn / Collect section, where you harvest rewards, collect fees and unstake.
Why do I need both tokens of the pair?

A Uniswap V3 position inside its price range always holds both tokens. The current price decides the mix, not you.

In the dapp you enter a single amount. One token uses the full amount you enter and the other uses an equal or smaller amount, so you need a balance of both before you can stake.

How do I get a pool's Zxo token?

Use the DEX Swap section of the dapp. It swaps the pool's paired token, or the chain's native coin, into that pool's Zxo token. The 50% button is there because most people want to keep half as the paired token for the other side of the stake.

The dapp also links to an outside exchange for that chain if you prefer to swap there, in either direction.

What is the stake bonus?

Extra reward weight of up to 20%, given when your deposit holds more of the paired token than of the Zxo token. That happens when the Zxo token is trading above its pair.

The Position Summary shows your bonus before you stake. The bonus is reward weight only. It raises your share of the pool's rewards and adds nothing to the tokens in your position.

What is the +25% holder bonus?

If your wallet holds at least the required amount of the chain's holder token (DYNASTY), your stake bonus is increased by a quarter, which lifts the cap from 20% to 25%. The dapp shows the amount required on your chain.

It boosts the stake bonus, so it only has an effect when your position earns a stake bonus in the first place. It is checked at the moment you stake.

Is there a lock-up?

Yes, 24 hours. You can unstake a position once 24 hours have passed since you staked it. There is no maximum, and you can stay staked for as long as you like.

How many positions can I have?

Up to 21 active positions per wallet, across all pools on a chain. Every stake creates a new position, so to add more to a pool you stake again.

Rewards

Rewards and APR

What do I earn?

Two things:

  • Farm rewards in the pool's own Zxo token. They build up every second while you are staked.
  • Trading fees from your liquidity position. Zxo pools use the 0.01% fee tier.
How does the APR work?

Every pool has a target APR. The pool's current APR adjusts on its own toward that target, at most once an hour, based on how much is staked. It is also limited by two caps fixed when the pool was created: a maximum APR and a maximum number of tokens per 30 days.

The Reward Dashboard shows the current and target APR of every pool. APR figures change over time and are not guaranteed.

What is the Zxo Adoption Bonus Phase?

A pool's maximum APR can be as high as 320%. For the first year after a pool launches, that ceiling doubles to as high as 640%. The year is counted from each pool's own launch, so every new pool gets its own bonus phase.

These are ceilings, not promised rates. Each pool sets its own target within them.

For how many months will farming at 510% APR be available on ZXOFARM / ZXO?

At most 12 months, until 4 October 2027. The ZXOFARM / ZXO pool on PulseChain was created on 4 October 2026 with a normal APR ceiling of 320%. A 510% target is above that, so it is only possible while the ceiling is doubled, which is the pool's first 365 days. After that the pool's ceiling drops back to 320%.

The 510% is a target, not a promise for the whole year. The owner can change a pool's target at any time within its ceiling, the current APR adjusts with how much is staked, and the pool's fixed 30-day token limit can hold it below the target as the pool grows. What you earn is also lower than the pool's APR; see Why are my earnings a little different from the pool's APR?

The Reward Dashboard shows the pool's current and target APR. Pool Details in the dapp shows how long the pool has been running.

Where do the doubled rewards in a pool's first year come from?

From newly minted tokens. Farm rewards are minted in the pool's own Zxo token at the moment they are claimed. Nothing is set aside in advance, and nothing comes out of other farmers' deposits, the treasury or other pools.

The first-year phase raises the ceiling on how fast a pool may mint, to double its normal maximum. A pool that runs at a higher rate grows the supply of its own Zxo token faster. The doubled ceiling is still a hard limit, and the pool's maximum number of tokens per 30 days, fixed when the pool was created, applies on top of it.

If rewards can be twice as high, isn't it twice as hard for the protocol to find adoption?

Higher rewards do ask more of a pool. More new tokens reach farmers, so the pool needs more demand for its Zxo token to hold its price. That trade-off is real.

Three things keep it from doubling the load on the whole protocol:

  • It is a ceiling, not a setting. Each pool has its own target APR and runs no higher than that. The Reward Dashboard shows every pool's target.
  • Every pool has its own reward token. A pool that runs at a high rate adds to the supply of its own token only, not to any other pool's.
  • Rewards follow what is staked. A pool's rate is a percentage of the value staked in it, held under caps fixed when the pool was created, so emissions only grow as the pool grows.

None of this guarantees that a high-APR pool finds enough demand. See What are the risks?

If rewards are twice as high, isn't the risk of farmers selling them twice as high too?

More rewards do mean more tokens that farmers can sell, and heavy selling can push a pool's Zxo token down. What farmers do with the tokens they earn is their own choice. The protocol does not control it.

The contracts limit the effect in two ways:

  • Claims pause when the price leaves the range. Rewards are only minted when they are claimed. If selling pushes the price below the range, nobody can harvest more until the price is back in range and its 15-minute average has caught up. Rewards keep building up in the meantime, so this slows selling rather than removing it.
  • It stays inside that pool. Each pool has its own reward token, so selling one pool's rewards does not touch the others.

Nothing buys a Zxo token back below 1:1, so a price that falls out of range can stay there. See Is a Zxo token pegged to its pair?

What is the difference between Harvest, Collect Fees and Harvest+Fees?
  • Harvest claims your farm rewards in the pool's Zxo token.
  • Collect Fees collects the trading fees your position has earned.
  • Harvest+Fees does both in one transaction.

All three need the pool's price to be in range. See What does "out of range" mean?

Do rewards compound automatically?

No. Rewards build up as a claimable balance and go to your wallet when you harvest. To put them back to work, stake them as a new position together with the paired token.

Why are my earnings a little different from the pool's APR?

Your share of a pool's rewards depends on your reward weight compared with everyone else's, so a few things move it:

  • Stake and holder bonuses raise the weight of positions that have them.
  • Each pool has a contract-owned core stake that counts toward the totals but never claims, which puts user earnings slightly below the target. The gap shrinks as more is staked.
  • The pool's referral share comes out of each claim.
What happens to rewards I have not claimed?

They keep building up for as long as you are staked, with no deadline. They are lost only if you unstake without harvesting first.

Price range

In range and out of range

What does "out of range" mean?

Every position in a pool uses the same price range around 1:1, roughly 0.97 to 1.03 paired tokens per Zxo token. While the price is inside it, the pool is in range.

When the price moves outside, staking, harvesting and fee collection pause until it comes back. Unstaking is never paused.

The price is back in range. Why is the pool still paused?

The pool also checks its 15-minute average price, and that has to be in range too. This stops anyone from pushing the price into range for a single transaction.

If the price stays in range, staking and harvesting reopen within about 15 minutes.

Do I lose rewards while the pool is out of range?

No. Rewards keep building up and you can claim them once the price is back in range. The exception is unstaking: if you unstake while harvesting is paused, your unclaimed rewards are lost.

Can I withdraw while the pool is out of range?

Yes. Unstaking has no price condition, so you can always take your position back once the 24-hour lock has passed. Because harvesting is paused while out of range, unstaking at that moment gives up any rewards you have not claimed.

Is a Zxo token pegged to its pair?

No. Trading near 1:1 is a design target, not a peg. Each pool's locked core liquidity sells the Zxo token as the price rises above 1:1, but nothing redeems or buys it below 1:1. The price can fall below the range, and harvesting stays paused while it does.

Unstaking

Getting your position back

How do I unstake?

Open the Earn / Collect section of the dapp and press Unstake on the position, any time after its 24-hour lock.

Harvest first. Unclaimed rewards are not paid out when you unstake. The dapp warns you before you confirm.

What do I get back when I unstake?

Your V3 liquidity position, returned to your wallet as an NFT. It still holds your liquidity and any trading fees you have not collected.

To turn it back into the two tokens, remove the liquidity on the exchange that hosts the pool (Uniswap on Arbitrum, LibertySwap on PulseChain). The mix of tokens you get back depends on the price at that time, so it can differ from what you deposited.

Can anyone stop me from unstaking?

No. Unstaking has no owner approval, no pause switch and no price check. The only condition is the 24-hour lock after staking.

Referrals

Referral rewards

How do referral rewards work?

Create your link with the Referral Tools and share it. When someone starts farming through your link, you receive a share of the farm rewards they claim, in the pool's Zxo token, each time they harvest.

The share is set per pool, between 3% and 30%. The Referral Dashboard shows every pool's live rate.

Does the referral share come out of my rewards?

Yes. The pool's referral share is taken from each claim and sent to your referrer. If you started without a referral link, it goes to the Zxo treasury. A wallet that is its own referrer keeps the full amount.

Your referrer is saved the first time you stake and cannot be changed afterwards.

Is my wallet address visible in my referral link?

Not directly. The address is encrypted inside the link, so it is not shown as plain text. Anyone can still look up the address behind a link using the lookup tool on the Referral Tools page.

Safety

Security and trust

Has Zxo been audited?

Zxo has had several AI-assisted security reviews, all published in full on the Security Audits page. The latest, Security Audit 5 (5 October 2026), scores the code as deployed on Arbitrum and PulseChain 8.8/10 with no open findings.

The reports state that an AI-assisted review does not replace an independent human audit, and that one is still recommended.

Can the team take my funds or pull the liquidity?

No path was found in the audits that lets anyone take user principal. The owner cannot touch staked positions or unclaimed rewards, cannot block or pause unstaking, cannot withdraw the core liquidity, and cannot upgrade the contracts.

The owner can create pools, set a pool's target APR within its cap, set its referral rate between 3% and 30%, and send the core liquidity's trading fees to the treasury.

What is the core LP?

Every pool is anchored by a large liquidity position of its Zxo token, placed just above 1:1 and owned by the Zxo contract. As buyers push the price up, it sells Zxo tokens and collects the paired token.

The contract has no function that can withdraw or reduce this position, so it is locked permanently.

Who controls the protocol?

There is no token voting. Each deployment has one owner address with the limited powers described above. On Arbitrum the owner is currently a single wallet, and the team plans to move ownership to a multisig.

Can the contracts be upgraded or paused?

No. The contracts are deployed directly, without proxies, and have no upgrade, pause, migration or rescue functions. The rules in place at deployment are the rules for the life of that deployment.

How can I check the contracts myself?

The Contract Sources page lists the Zxo contract addresses on PulseChain and Arbitrum, with a link to the verified source on Sourcify for every contract the deployment reports checked.

Each chain also has its own report that shows how the deployed code was matched to the reviewed code and ends with a "Verify it yourself" section: the PulseChain Deployment Report and the Arbitrum Deployment Statement. Only use contract addresses published on Zxo.Farm.

What are the risks?
  • Smart contract risk. Reviews reduce it but cannot remove it.
  • Price risk. Liquidity positions change their token mix as the price moves (impermanent loss), and a Zxo token can trade below its range.
  • Variable rewards. APRs change and are not guaranteed.
  • Outside dependencies. Zxo relies on the exchange, the paired token and the network it runs on.

Tokens can lose some or all of their value. Nothing on this site is financial advice.

Help

Troubleshooting

Why can't I stake right now?

The usual reasons:

  • The pool is out of range, or just back in range and waiting on its 15-minute average.
  • Your wallet is missing one of the two tokens, or does not hold enough of it.
  • The tokens have not been approved yet.
  • Your wallet is on a different network from the pool.
  • You already have 21 active positions.
Can I try Zxo without real funds?

Yes. Switch the dapp to PulseChain Testnet v4 and get free test coins from the testnet faucet. The dapp shows a faucet link next to the TESTNET label.
